Kristy Mattiazzo

Licensed since 2004, Kristy Mattiazzo brings over two decades of real estate experience, combining market knowledge, integrity, and a client-first approach to deliver results for buyers and sellers. She previously spent nearly 10 years as an internationally award-winning Home Stager and business owner, giving her a sharp eye for design and presentation that helps sellers attract qualified buyers and maximize their return. Her marketing and communications background drives customized listing strategies — professional presentation, digital marketing, targeted advertising, and strategic pricing. For buyers, she provides market insight, early access to new opportunities, and guidance for confident decisions in a competitive market. Designations & training – ABR® — Accredited Buyer’s Representative – SRES® — Seniors Real Estate Specialist (clients 50+) – RENE® — Real Estate Negotiation Expert – Negotiation Skills — BCIT She works with first-time buyers, growing families, downsizers, and investors, and is known for professionalism, responsiveness, and building lasting relationships based on trust.

Kristy works with buyers and sellers throughout Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody and the wider Tri-Cities, as well as Burnaby, New Westminster and Vancouver, practising out of RE/MAX Heights Realty at 400-4370 Dominion Street, Burnaby.

Those staging years were spent as the owner of Private Property Staging, and that is the part most sellers end up relying on: she reads a property the way a buyer will see it, and she knows what preparation is worth doing and what is not.

Professional philosophy

Kristy’s approach starts with presentation. Nearly a decade of staging taught her that buyers form an opinion in the first few moments of a showing, so preparation — not discounting — is where she puts a seller’s effort: what is worth repairing, what is better left alone, what should come out of the room, and how the property will read in photographs. Her marketing background carries that through to the listing itself, built for the specific property rather than run off a template.

For buyers the priority is information early enough to act on: an honest read of what a property is worth before an offer is written, and the strata documents, comparable sales and inspection findings understood rather than skimmed. Her designations exist for the same reason — buyer representation, negotiation and senior clients are each their own discipline, and she trained in them deliberately.

Across both sides the standard does not change. First-time buyers, growing families, downsizers and investors get the same responsiveness and the same straight answers — which is why much of her work now comes from past clients and the people they refer. She would rather earn the next transaction than close this one quickly.
